Martin W. Stratemann, DDS, MS
Dr. Martin is a 1964 graduate of New Braunfels High School. He earned a BS in biology at Southwest Texas State College in San Marcos, Texas in 1968. Following completion of dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch in 1971, he completed orthodontic residency and earned a MS degree at UTHSC Houston in 1973. He served as an instructor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School from 1978-1988. He is a life member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and Charter Member of the World Federation of Orthodontists.
Scott A. Stratemann, DDS, MS
Dr. Scott is a 1992 graduate of New Braunfels High School and was the valedictorian of his class. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in microbiology and was the Dean’s Honored Scholar in Microbiology in 1996. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2000 and is the recipient of an AADR Summer Dental Student Research Grant. He completed a 2-year general practice residency at UTHSCSA and then an orthodontic residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where he received a certificate in orthodontics and a MS in oral and craniofacial sciences in 2005. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the River District Dental Society. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, having completed certification by the American Board of Orthodontics, the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists.

Our practice has been serving New Braunfels since 1936, originally founded by O.A. Stratemann, Sr., DDS. The office is currently operated by his son, Martin W. Stratemann, DDS, MS, and his grandson, Scott A. Stratemann, DDS, MS. We have been in the same location near downtown New Braunfels since 1945. We are constantly upgrading and updating the original practice with new technologies to meet your modern orthodontic needs.
